Who We Are
Rememberit, LLC (We/Us) is a Delware registered Corporation focused on providing online web applications and web sites. We own and operate the Rememberit.app website (https://rememberit.app) as well as related mobile/tablet apps and a range of information and marketing sites related to language learning.
Purpose of this Document
We believe that respecting users privacy is a fundamental requirement to doing business online and all business and technical decisions we make are mindful of this important principle.

Information We Collect
Personal Account Information
When you register with Remembr.it you will be required to provide us with some personal information, including your name, email address, timezone and password to create your account. Your password will be maintained on our system in an encrypted form.
Course Data
As you progress through your course we will maintain a record of your course status. This includes the items you have studied and the dates on which you have logged in, started/completed lessons and tests as well as data relating to those lesson/tests.
Survey / Feedback / Enquiry Data
From time to time we will place customer feedback surveys on our site in order to encourage our customers to give us their opinion of our service. We also maintain a record of all sales/support enquiries we receive either submitted via our site or directly via email.
Logfiles
Each interaction with our site is recorded in a log file on our server. This information contains no personal information as such and in maintained purely for diagnostic and security reasons.
Web Analytics Data
In order to better understand how our users are using their service we make use of various web analytics programs. Although these programs are based on tracking individual users and how they interact with the site, none of the information they collect is stored in a way that would allow a user’s individual usage or behavior to be identified.
Use of this Information
The information we collect is used in the following ways:
Your personal account and course information is used in order to run your course and allow us to contact you as we deem necessary in order to provide the service.
Information you volunteer to us either by submitting a query via our site (or directly via email) or by filling out one of our surveys is used by us to trouble-shoot technical problems, manage user issues, upgrade and improve our services as well as in our sales and marketing.
We may from time to time use extracts from customer communications or results from customer surveys in our sales and marketing materials. However, your personal information will NEVER BE USED unless we have sought and obtained your permission.
Aggregated data which contains no user-identifying information may be provided to various stakeholders and potential business partners in order to show the size, scope and value of our business

Brighttank Applications or one of our sites is acquired by or merged with another company. If this happens we will notify you in advance of any of your personal information being transferred to the new entity.

We make use of several third-party services either as part of the service (eg. email newsletters) or as part of our monitoring of our service (eg. web analytics, customer surveys, etc).
Generally these services store non-identifiable data in aggregate form.
Where a third party service is required to store customer information (eg. storage of email addresses as part of our email newsletters) we make sure any service provider we use has an explicit privacy policy that protects any customer data we are required to supply in order to use the service.

As a web application it is necessary for us to use cookies in order to identify and authenticate you during your course. We also use cookies to track visits and page views on our sales and marketing sites.
We also use third-party service providers that may use cookies in order to provide reporting and analytics services to us.
Data Storage
We use third-party hosting services to run our web sites and store our data (including backup data). In selecting these providers all care is taken to ensure that they have appropriate privacy policies in place to protect ours and our customers' data.
Credit Card Details
We do not store your credit card details. Where credit card payments are made on our site we may store the card type and last four digits in order for us to be able to identify the payment.
No Liability
We make continual efforts to safeguard your personal data by constantly monitoring the security of our systems to prevent hackers and by only choosing trusted third-party hosting and service providers.
However, we cannot guarantee that any information you provide to us or is collected by us will not be misused or disclosed to third parties. In the case of any such misuse or disclosure we will not be liable to you for any resulting damages.
Cancellation of Your Account
Residual copies of your personal and usage data may still remain in our systems after your have cancelled your account. We maintain rolling backups of all our data as part of our disaster recovery management process. It is not feasible for us to delete data from our backups on a per user basis.
Compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
As a business service we do not target our offerings toward, and do not knowingly collect any personal information from users under 13 years of age.
